Medical School
In recent years, UCSC students who applied to medical school with MCAT scores and a GPA similar to the national average were accepted at a rate of 40% - 50%. Most students who had competitive scores but who did not gain entry into medical school were able to strengthen their applications through additional community service, or work experience and gained admissions the following year.
