Support accessing digital resources
Most digital resources don’t require you to create an account, and you can access them with their respective links on the digital resources page.
Handshake
You will need your UCSC Gold ID and password to log into Handshake via single sign-on (SSO). Your SSO credentials may automatically be deactivated if you don’t use SSO for a year. If you need help recovering your credentials, visit the CruzID Manager FAQ.
You can use Handshake without access to your UCSC email address. We recommend updating your primary email address on Handshake to a personal email address to continue receiving emails from Handshake.
Big Interview
You will need to use your UCSC email address to create an account with Big Interview. This will email you a link that you need to use to activate your account the first time. After you do this, you will set a password specifically for Big Interview.
As alumni, you automatically keep your UCSC email address for one year. If you would like to keep your UCSC email address beyond that one year, you need to follow these instructions from ITS.
