Employers will be looking to meet qualified UC Santa Cruz students from a variety of majors with job skills and knowledge developed in a rigorous academic major(s).

ACE Charter Schools
ACE is the only school system in California to exclusively serve students in 5th-12th grade who have fallen the farthest behind and propel them to college and life success. We are a team of educators who inspire optimism, self-confidence, and ambition in every student.

Alisal Union School District
The Alisal Union School District operates 12 K-6 schools and partners with one Charter School in the most rapidly growing section of Salinas. The Alisal Union School District employs over 400 certificated and 250 classified staff members.

Campbell Union High School District
Located just over Highway 17, Campbell Union High School District consists of 5 comprehensive high schools and an alternative program, with enrollment of appx. 7,000 students. Ceiba Public Schools
Ceiba Public Schools was founded in Watsonville, CA to prepare low-income students in non-urban communities to graduate from four-year colleges. Ceiba College Prep Middle School was launched in 2008 with 150 sixth and seventh grade students. In 2011, Ceiba High School opened, creating a 6-12 pathway for the school’s students. Ceiba graduated its first class of college-ready scholars in June 2015.
Ceiba’s program is based on explicit and ambitious expectations for student achievement, a small school feel offering personalized attention, an extended school day, a challenging academic course load including both art and physical education.

Escuela Popular is a charter school in San Jose, California that has been in existence since 1986 and in 2002 became a charter school. EP is a family learning center that serves Pre-K to 12th grade children, youth, and adults who seek to empower themselves by acquiring a higher education and the knowledge to affect change in their communities. Escuela Popular provides educational services to over 1,100 students in three age-appropriate programs in two facilities. Our student population is predominantly Latino. Most of our students are first generation immigrants who come from Spanish-speaking households.
The Franklin-McKinley School District serves over 9,900 students in grades ranging from Pre-school to eighth grade. Galileo Learning
Camp Galileo is the only Bay Area summer day camp for pre-K to rising 5th graders that encourages kids to brainstorm, create and think like innovators through the Galileo Innovation Approach.
