Internship Programs
- UCDC
This competitive program sends students to Washington D.C. for a quarter to intern and study at the nation's capital. UCDC is offered Fall, Winter, and Spring; Juniors and Seniors are given preference.
- UCCS - UC Center Sacramento
This program includes coursework (15 quarter units/14 semester units) as well as professional experience while living, interning, and attending classes in Sacramento.
- UC Davis King Hall Outreach Program
King Hall Outreach Program (KHOP) helps college students from underrepresented communities prepare for the law school admissions process.
- Prelaw Undergraduate Scholars Program
The PLUS prelaw program is targeted, but not restricted, to college students from racial and ethnic minority groups underrepresented in the legal profession. It consists of a 4 week program over the summer, different law schools participate each summer.

- Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity at UCSC: PAD is a co-ed professional fraternity dedicated to supporting students in their professional development and decision-making processes about law school and beyond. We offer guidance on the intricacies of the application process and provide valuable resources for anyone exploring or interested in the professional world. - La Sociedad of Latine Pre-Law Students (LASO): LASO is UCSC's Latine Pre-Law Association, an organization created as a space for Latine students to explore careers in the legal field. We want to provide resources for you all when it comes to applying to law schools, have professional development workshops, and more! - Moot Court at UCSC: The purpose of Moot Court is to simulate the proceedings of appellate (higher) court. It requires participants to apply the law to facts of a fictional case, arguing for the respondent or the petitioner. At Moot Court, you'll enhance your writing and oral argument skills, get to practice legal research, formulating, and presenting, meet new friends, and add to your resume.
