Honoring Our Roots, Uplifting Black Voices

 

This online gala will feature national leaders of Black theater, including Woodie King, Jr., playwrights, alumni, and representatives of the Black Theater Network. The African American Theater Arts Troupe (AATAT) community would be honored to have your presence.

 

AATAT is the only student African American theater troupe in the UC system. For thirty years, AATAT has produced outstanding performances for the campus, local communities, and high schools throughout California. Equally important is the unique place created by AATAT where African American students of all majors connect with their histories and find their voices.

Are you moving off-campus in the fall? Or are you confused about the housing process?

Good news! The Good Neighbor Initiative is holding a virtual Off-Campus Housing Webinar over zoom on February 23rd from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. The webinar is filled with helpful resources, information about the housing process and connections with school and city officials.

My name is Kelly Panlaqui, I will be hosting the event and I’m the Good Neighbor Initiative Intern under the Chancellor Undergraduate Internship Program (CUIP) and the Community and Government Relations Department. The webinar will include nine panelists presenting information on how to search for rentals, your rights and landlord responsibilities, signing up for city utilities, the rental application process, how to recycle property and much more. There will be a Q&A session at the end for you to ask any unanswered questions you may have.

Please register early with the link provided below and those who register early will be entered in a drawing that will be held during the webinar. Winners must be present in order to accept the prize. Prizes range from a pizza coupon to an IPad Mini! We look forward to seeing you there.
