Interviewing

A job interview should be about how you can help a potential employer achieve their organizational goals. It supplements your resume, cover letter, transcript, and other written application. Hiring professionals also look for culture fit and how well you can work with others.

What to do before your interview

  • Research companies, clarify and understand their mission statement, their goals, and how your skills or personality can help the company accomplish them. With a solid understanding of the company and the position, you will be able to face most questions confidently.
